Using WebMail

WebMail is a simple, internet-based program which is available from the U of R homepage. There is also a link to connect to WebMail in the top right corner of the CS 104 Lab Website.

The opening page of WebMail will prompt you for login information. Use your Hyperion/Novell username and password, i.e. the same info you use to login to computers on campus and to check UR Courses. If you do not know your Hyperion/Novell account information, click HERE to retrieve it.

After logging in, you will enter a e-mail browser which looks and operates much the same as other web-based browsers, such as hotmail or gmail. This is an image of what the WebMail interface looks like.

The opening screen displays a list of messages in your inbox, including the sender, the Subject line, and the time received. Unread messages will appear in bold. Double clicking a message will open up the main content of the message. Just like other web-based email, there are links to your Address Book, Settings, to compose a New Message, Delete messages, to Logout, etc.
