Web and Database Programming

This courses shows how interactive client/server web applications are designed and implemented. Appropriate languages for web computing will be discussed. Human- computer interfaces, data models, and database connectivity will be explored in the context of web computing.

Lecture and Assignments

All the lectures and assignment will be posted on URCourses . All the submission of the assignments will be via URCourses as well.

Late submissions will not be accepted, but the grades for missing assignments may be moved to the final exam under exceptional circumstances, and with appropriate documentation.

Labs and Lab Assignments

All the lab sessions is at CL115. The lab manual and schedule are provided here

Students are expected to attend the labs in the lab session in which they are registered only. Attending a lab session for which you are not registered is not permitted due to space and resource limitations.

Lab attendance will be logged during each lab session; 1/3 of your lab mark is based on your attendance and active participation in the activities of the lab.

Lab assignments are due by the next day at the same time as lab session in which you are registered. For example, if you are registered in the Wednesday lab, your lab assignment will be due at 12:30 PM on Thursday the next day. Late submissions will not be accepted, but the grades for missing lab assignments may be moved to the final exam under exceptional circumstances, and with appropriate documentation.
