Proposal (typewritten and proofread):

	Statement of problem
	Examples of problem that will be solved and approximate 
	form of solution
		- complete (hand-derived) examples
	Approach to Problem
		- general approach
		- discussion of relevant literature
		- outline of implementation
	Criteria for evaluating success of the project
		- by what objective measures will I be able to evaluate
		your project.  Be as precise and quantitative as possible.
	Schedule -- must include include at least 10 timepoints
	Work Breakdown Form
	Research Contribution Form
	List of Cited References

	Approximately 5 - 10 pages plus last 4 items

Final Project Report (typewritten and proofread):

Two parts:
- description plus appendices

Description:  in the format of a research paper (specify journal
or conference whose style you are matching).

	Introduction 
		- to project
		- to document (describe organziation of paper)
	Statement of problem and examples (adapted from proposal)
	Approach 
	Results 
		- sample results and discussion of test results 
		- most/all actual results will most likely be in the appendix 
	Discussion of related work and comparison
	Limitations and possible extensions
	Conclusions
		- summarize what was achieved
		- relate back to proposal 
		- relate to introduction 

Appendices suitable for an implementation project
	User's Manual  
	Implementation Manual  
		- for the next programmer who will work on
		the code
	Printout of complete program  
	Test Results
		* print out of complete test runs
