[lofo List] letter of support template + link to form 183A
Hello;
Here is a template for the letters of support, prepared
by Tim. Each letter would require a completed Form 183A,
which can be found at:

It can be completed online.

NSERC SPG Letter of Support Template
Things necessary to include (from NSERC web site):
A complete Letter of Support from your partner(s) must address the
following points:
the organization's support for and agreement with the proposal
submitted to NSERC;
the reasons for being involved in the proposed collaboration;
how the organization expects to integrate the results into its
operations or to otherwise benefit from the anticipated outcomes;
(for projects) the further effort required to exploit the results in
Canada;
the potential for benefit to the Canadian economy, and the relevant
time frame;
the anticipated interaction of the organization's personnel with
researchers from postsecondary institutions; and
the contribution to the direct costs of the research, in cash and
in-kind, as stated in the research proposal.
The letter of support from the organization must be attached to Form
183A.

the NSERC strategic grant project headed by Dr. Daryl H. Hepting of the
University of Regina, entitled Information Technology in Support of
Civic Agriculture. [enter supporting organization] has helped to

the researchers in the research and development in many aspects of the
project. Specifically, [enter supporting organization] will be
involved in [add accordingly, some may include… assisting the
researchers in policy and regulations, assisting in communication
between the researchers and Saskatchewan producers, offering a listing
of agricultural products for which they are willing to place in the
project directory, providing additional guidance and assistance as
required. ]
The benefits of this project to [enter supporting organization] are
numerous. This include: [add/change accordingly the assessment of
current policies and regulations relating to the production and
consumption of local agricultural products, offering a potential
training tool; and information tool for Saskatchewan producers and
consumers, the assessment of interest in local agricultural products
