[lofo List] letters of support -- Infrastructure Canada application

Hi;

Perhaps there is some confusion about the letters of support.
Perhaps we can have some discussion about what supporting
organizations see themselves getting from this project, to make
sure that everyone is clear. Financial contribution isn't *required*.
It would be helpful, but I think that opportunities for in-kind
support can be identified and those are also IMPORTANT. In general,
the letter doesn't require a special form or any particular disclosure
(as the NSERC one did). I've talked with the program staff about
the letters and he had only general guidelines for the letters: that
they indicate support and what the organization's involvement will be
and what kind of (in-kind) contribution will be made. The letter
should (likely -- this wasn't mentioned) come on letterhead and
(definitely) come from (and be signed by) someone with enough authority
to make these commitments for the organization.

Groups who might provide letters of support:

Sask Ag. and Food
National Farmers Union
Saskatchewan Organic Directorate
Saskatchewan Organic Livestock
Farmer Direct
Saskatchewan Vegetable Growers Assocation
Child Hunger and Education Program (Saskatoon)
Regina Qu'Appelle Health District
Public Health Nutritionists of Saskatchewan
Regina Education & Action on Child Hunger (Regina)

The clock is ticking loudly on this next application. Please comment.

Best regards,
Daryl
