[lofo List] Emptied Mediterranean - Sharks Nearly Gone
Hi;
Continuing the theme from the last post, sharks are almost gone -- but
that's not all:
The sharks, tunas, sturgeons, sea turtles, and so many other marine
denizens of old are a pale shadow of what prevailed in the pre-
humanized seas. In a world heading toward 9 billion people, it
remains unclear how current populations can be sustained, let alone
restored.
