Professional Profile
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of Regina. My primary interests in Computer Science include Human Computer Interaction, Ethical and Social Aspects of Computers, and Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS). I have taught several undergraduate Computer Science (CS) courses at the University of Regina, including Human-Computer Communications (CS 305), Programming and Problem Solving for Natural Sciences (CS 110), and Introduction to Computers (CS 100). As well, I have taught several undergraduate CS laboratories (labs, hands-on learning environments), including the lab for Introduction to Multimedia (CS 325/Film 385) and Human-Computer Communications (CS 305). I have attended several teaching seminars offered by the Teaching Development Centre (TDC) at the University of Regina and have obtained a graduate citation in university teaching from the TDC. I am also the primary system administrator and website developer for the Saskatchewan Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE Saskatchewan).

- Duties include conference organization, sponsorship, planning, and production; designating the organizing structure and its duties, selecting a conference theme, dates, and invited presenters, making timely and accurate applications for sponsorship to large funding agencies (such as the Tri-Council), external governmental and corporate sponsors, and internal Faculty and departmental sponsors; organizing all aspects of the conference program including booking the presentation rooms, organizing appropriate food services and booking any social event locations; designating session themes and assigning approved presenters to each session; coordinating the volunteers including the abstract referees, session chairs, registration table personnel, keynote "handler", and volunteers for general non-specified duties; preparing all promotional materials in the form of advertising posters, calls for abstracts and for titled sessions, conference presenter packages, and attendee conference program guides
