My name is Ryan Marcotte. I am an undergraduate student pursuing a B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science degree at the University of Regina. In addition to my studies with the university, I have been pursuing my own research interests. Generally speaking, my interest lies in computer graphics and artificial intelligence with an emphasis on their applications in computer games. Programming languages used in my work include C++ and C#. Some of my recent work can be found in the Projects page of this website. This site is still under construction, so I apologize for the lack of material - updates are forthcoming.

Regardless of your own interest in the field, I hope that you find my work to be at least mildly interesting.

NOTE: If you receive any browser notifications telling you that scripts are running in the background and present a security concern (for example, Internet Explorer's message is "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for more options..."). This site does not use any ActiveX controls, and the only scripting used is to modify the menu graphics at the top of the page when you hover over them. You can be rest assured that my site does not pose a security threat to your computer. To improve your navigation around the site, I recommend enabling scripts to execute.
