Firefox Extensions

Over the years, I've done quite a bit of web development. I even get paid for it from time to time. Though I always strive to keep my pages looking good in every browser that might come along, I use Mozilla Firefox for my daily browsing needs. Here are some extensions I've built to make my life easier.

Canadian English (en-CA) Spelling Dictionary

Version 1.1.5 released on October 30, 2009.

For some reason, Mozilla doesn't have a Canadian localization team, but I know that even the British dictionary doesn't quite cut it for the truly patriotic. This extension adds Canadian English to the spell check languages available under the latest Mozilla products. After installing this extensions, you have to change your preferred language to Canadian English by right-clicking on a text box.

For assistance using my dictionary in Firefox 2.0, see my Quick User Guide.

The word lists are in the public domain. View copyrights and credits.

A Canadian dictionary for Thunderbird 1.5 and Mozilla Suite is available at the Thunderbird dictionary page.

If you have any questions or issues not covered in the user guide, please email me. I am also listening to feedback about words to add or remove from the dictionary.
