My name is Mondelle Simeon and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina under the supervision of Dr. Robert Hilderman. I began my graduate studies as a Master's student in the Fall of 2006 and transferred into the PhD program in the Fall of 2007. I hold a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with a major in Mathematics from the University of New Brunswick. My research focuses on data mining with an emphasis on contrast set mining. I am focusing specifically on identifying contrast sets from various datasets and developing new measures of interest for pruning and ranking these contrast sets.
