• Granular Computing:
  Triarchic theory of granular computing, structured thinking, structured problem solving, structured information processing.
• Rough Sets:
  Generalized rough set models, relations to other theories, attribute reduction.
• Web Intelligence:
  Intelligent web information systems, web-based support systems, web-based research support system, web-based information retrieval support systems.
• Information Retrieval:
  retrieval models, retrieval techniques, system evaluation.
• Uncertainty Management in Intelligent Information Systems:
  uncertain reasoning, uncertainty measures, uncertainty management, non-classical logic, fuzzy sets, interval computation and reasoning, applications of measurement theory and decision theory.
