Hotel:
Block of rooms have been reserved for the conference participants for the period
of Oct. 14 through Oct. 20, 2000. The special conference rates are $99.00 for
standard bedroom and $189 per night for "deluxe" bedroom. All rates are quoted
in Canadian dollars and the price is for single or double occupancy. Hotel reservation
should be made directly by contacting hotel either by phone, fax, mail, e-mail or
by completing the online reservation form accessible via hotel WEB site at
http://www.banffparklodge.com.
Only a limited number of rooms are reserved, please book your room before September 15, 2000
for the conference rate.

When making the reservation please remember to mention the conference dates and
the conference's symbol "ROUGH SETS" (please put that information in the "Comments"
section if you are using on line reservation form).
Getting to Banff:
Banff is easily accessible via Calgary. It takes app. one hour by car to get
to Banff from Calgary airport. For those travelling by car, just follow
Transcanada Highway No. 1 West. Banff is located by this Highway in the
beautiful National Park (you will have to pay minor entry fee to the park,
only if you travel by car, fee is per car and is not collected late at night).
For participants not willing to rent a car, there are direct bus connections
from the airport to Banff. The hotel is located close to the centre of Banff,
in the short walking distance. It is one of the major hotels there so it is
impossible to miss it. We will post more detailed information on the later date.
