The Triarchic Model of Granular Computing (Click paper title to download)

The Triarchic Model consists of three perspectives of granular computing: the philosophy of structured thinking, the methodology of structured problem solving, and the computation of structured information processing. A central notion is granular structures characterized by multilevel and multiview. While a multilevel hierarchy represents a particular view, a collection of many hierarchies represents a multiview description. The basic ideas of the Triarchic Model are developed in this group of papers.
