A Triarchic Theory of Granular Computing

The Triarchic Theory consists of three perspectives of granular computing: the philosophy of structured thinking, the methodology of structured problem solving, and the mechanism of structured information processing. A central notion is granular structures characterized by multilevel and multiview. While a multilevel hierarchy represents a particular view, a collection of many hierarchies represents a multiview description.
